H1b 3 Years Extension

Today the most common trend found among the youth of most countries is to settle in USA in search of good job opportunities. Thus, every year about 65000 professionals from various fields come to this country in search of new job opportunities. Therefore, US government has issued various temporary visa options to allow this outsourcing more fluently, as these talented professionals helps in the industrial development of this country. One such visa issued is H1B visa. These are meant for professionals only. For those persons who want to come to USA for working purpose only, this H1B visa is the best option.

As H1B visa is valid for a time span of only three years, so H1b Extension is necessary for all those who wants to work for more than 3 years in USA. There are two types of extensions. One is the H1B 3 year extension. These three years extensions are mainly required for those professionals who need to work in US after three years of work, as H1B visa remains valid only for three years on first approval. The second type is extension is required after the expiry of the first extension of 3 years that is after six years of continuous work in United States (H1b Extension After 6 Years ). This concept introduced by US government states that, the H1B visa could be extended beyond six years but only for one year. If that person who needs to stay more, he has to renew this visa every year.

H1B 3-year extension is mainly required for those professionals who need to work in US after three years of work. As H1B visa is valid only for three years on first approval.

Conditions implied for H1B 3-year extension:

  1. The person applying for H1B extension must be a green card holder employment petition under EB2, EB1, and EB3 category.
  2. People belonging to countries like China or India where there is no current prior date are not eligible to apply for file adjustment application.

Documents for H1B 3 YEARS EXTENSION:

  1. The fees charged for H1B processing is not refundable in case of denial and has to be paid as bank draft, check, or money order to United State’s Department of states.
  2. Original I-94 issue from USCIS is required.
  3. A supporting letter should be given containing information like working status, information related to nature of business or profession and the number of members. In addition, the letter should contain the reason for visa renewal.
  4. A self-addressed paid envelope should also be given along with all these documents, to return the documents to the original user.
  5. The applicant and his family members must have their passport updated and valid.
  6. The application OF I-56 along with a photograph of the applicant should be submitted.

If by chance the documents are returned due to some error in the documents, then one must resent the documents after correcting the errors, no extra processing fee will be charged for that. Thus if the documents are fine, the H1B VISA gets extended for another three years
